Layla is born!

Meg and I are pleased to introduce the newest member of the Courtnage Knudsen family…Layla Courtnage Knudsen was born sunny-side-up on Sunday, June 13th at 8:53 pm! She was 6 lbs. 11 ounces, and 19.5” long.

She gave her mom exactly 30 hours to recover from (successful) emergency retinal eye surgery before breaking the water and making it clear that she was ready to come out. Everyone is healthy and happy. It was an extremely eventful 3 days, and we’re ready to settle in and get to know our new little family member.
